How to keep healthier after hurricane

You can start days before recollecting all the instruments to survive the post-hurricane season. It is very important to have non-perishable food and is necessary to make sure you have ready the proteins, carbohydrates, and fats; and most important: drinking water.
I will give you some advice so that you can prevent yourself and manage to balance your diet to keep you healthy in situations of natural disasters. A good example of foods that will help you pass the post-hurricane is Superfoods and alkaline water. You can find Superfoods that will keep you in good nutrition, like chia, almonds, cacao seeds, spirulina and coconut oil.
Try to keep drinking water for at least 10 per person per week
As mentioned at the beginning of the article, the most important thing that you can not miss, is water, remember to also store water for your feline or dog friends.
After a natural disaster, most likely many people will need help, and water is most needed at those times. There are water filters in the market that do not need to be connected to the pipeline and that will help you to make drinking water.

In post-hurricane season, we cannot cook as there is no electricity or gas to cook. The almonds are a good choice for healthy eating or having to resort to canned food.
With more digestible proteins than animal meat is Spirulina:
Spirulina is a seaweed that provides proteins, vitamins, A, E, D, B1, B3, B6, B12, Iron, zinc, folic acid, and essential acids and minerals. It is very easy to find it in health food store, pharmacies, or in online stores.
You can have it in your kitchen in pill, or powder to prepare, according to your preference.

The unprocessed cocoa seeds are very bitter, but you will find the authentic taste of bitter chocolate.
This seed is mainly rich in polyphenols, which encourage your body and your mood.
So, we can go to polyphenol to help a little to our body to produce endorphins that are the hormones that give us happiness.
